Mary M. Davies was born in New Orleans, and grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Her short fiction has appeared in a number of literary magazines, most recently in The Antigonish Review and Fiction. She loves community-based open mics, workshops and spoken word spaces, and wouldn't be the writer she is today without those venues. She lives in Portland, Oregon.
